Don’t worry, STDs stands for save-the-dates! Got your attention though didn’t it? Well today marks the return of class for Rachael and I after our spring break. Rachael enjoyed spending the week in Florida with some friends while I stayed home and played in my garden and did a multitude of other odds and ends. We apologize for not posting for some time now, but our professors think that right before spring break they need to bury us in tests and project deadlines.
Over the break I tried on a number of suits for the wedding. I’ve pretty well decided to go the suit route instead of renting tuxedos, because for around the same price you can get a nice suit and have something to show for your money after the wedding. Anyway, after trying on many suits, I found one that I really liked and bought it. Of course, after getting home I soon realized that this suit doesn’t come in all the sizes needed to dress my boys for wedding. So back to square one… Either find a different suit that everyone can wear or wear the suit I already bought and find a different suit for everybody else, that, (1) fits everybody, and (2) doesn’t make my suit look less formal, as mine is a modern cut.
Save the Dates… Well, getting everybody on one list and remembering everyone to invite without forgetting anybody was much harder than anticipated. We finally got the list done, and Rachael and I put all the mailing labels on the Save the Dates Saturday night. We “should” get those out early this week. From this, I believe we’ve decided to expand our limit of invitees, which means we have to “rethink” the layout of the reception (more on that later to come, I’m sure).
Thanks for supporting us and following us on our blog, check back soon, as we will be thinking about reception music in the near future and would like your input on “favs” for reception music. Thanks!
