I have to say that I have been too laid back about most of the wedding plans thus far.  However, last Thursday Zach decided it was about time we begin registering.  We’d been talking about the need for a while, but we finally went and did it!  We’re now registered at Wal-Mart, Kohls, and Bed, Bath & Beyond.  We did Wal-Mart first.  We found out the hard way that the Wal-Mart closest to campus does not have the “magic scanner.”  So, we headed out to the Wal-Mart by what will be our apartment next year!  (Post to come on that later!)  We registered for most of our fundamental things there.  We had fun; however, it was a Thursday.  Thursdays are my awful, long days and our Burn Notice nights, so we had to cut it short!  Our Kohls registry was our Valentine’s Date.  (Don’t worry, he took me out for lunch too!) We both had a lot of fun with the Kohl’s registry!  I am soooo excited about the bedding and cookware we registered for.  Side note:  Zach loves Calphalon cookware.  I love almost anything red.  We found RED CALPHALON cookware!  Pretty awesome, huh?  The bedding is a really cool burnt orange color.  We know it will look great with the bed frame we already bought!  Anyways, we felt pretty good about getting both of those stores out of the way!  On Friday night, our date was for our last stop – Bed, Bath, & Beyond.  It was an awesome experience!  Anyone who is engaged – I highly encourage you to register there!  The employees were so great.  They sat down with us and went over the important checklist, were quick to change the battery in our scanner, and were way friendly!  We also registered for a lot of exciting things there!  I am really excited about the plates we found!  They are really unique.  We went with square plates.  The dinner plate has a pattern, and the salad plate is a solid brown.  Super cute!!!  I also really like our shower curtain.    Zach really liked the silverware.  Overall, our registry experience was great.  We didn’t have problems anywhere.  We’re still slowly adding items online, but I feel somewhat wedding productive now that we are finished registering!  Yay, now on to the actual wedding planning…
